Two-photon cross section

The molecular cross-section for two photon absorptions is proportional to the imaginary part of γ
- <math>\sigma(\omega) \propto Im [\gamma(-\omega; \omega, \omega, - \omega)]\,\!</math>
The bulk TPA coefficient is often represented by β, not to be confused with the first hyperpolarizability.
